Latest Ukraine War Update
- According to the August 2-8 briefing, daily combat clashes remained very high, ranging from 207 to 261 and totaling approximately 1,643 over the week.
- Russia used 964 Shahed drones and about 70 missiles during the week, with the largest combined strikes recorded on August 2, August 5, and August 8.
- Air pressure was reinforced by 604 airstrikes and about 1,996 guided aerial bombs, keeping civilian regions and military-adjacent infrastructure under repeated attack.
- The Pokrovsk direction remained the main center of Russian offensive activity, with about 191 assault actions. Kostiantynivka, Sloviansk, Lyman, and Huliaipole also stayed among the most active directions.
- Ukrainian strikes were recorded against UAV control points, warehouses, bridges, oil refineries, airfields, fuel infrastructure, radar-control facilities, and military logistics nodes.
Current Situation
