This Privacy Policy explains how Transatlantic Dialogue Center (“TDC”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you visit tdcenter.org, subscribe to our updates, register for events, contact us, submit a form, or interact with our advertising and social-media lead forms.

- information you submit through website forms, MailerLite forms, LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms, Meta/Facebook/Instagram lead forms, or similar campaign forms.
Please do not submit sensitive personal information unless we specifically ask for it and explain why it is needed.
Information collected automatically
When you use our website, we and our service providers may collect:

- pages viewed;
- referring page or campaign link;
- approximate location derived from technical information;

Information from advertising and social platforms
If you interact with TDC ads or lead forms on platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, or Meta products, we may receive the information you choose to submit through those platforms. The platform may pre-fill some fields from your profile before you submit the form. We receive the information only after you choose to submit it to us.
Your use of those platforms is also governed by their own privacy policies and settings.
3. How We Use Information
We use personal data for the following purposes:
- to operate and secure our website;
- to respond to questions, requests, or partnership inquiries;
- to provide newsletters, publication updates, event invitations, and other TDC communications;
- to register or manage participation in events, briefings, webinars, or similar activities;
- to deliver requested reports, papers, or event information;

4. Newsletters and MailerLite
We use MailerLite and related website code to provide newsletter signup forms and manage email subscriptions.
When you subscribe, MailerLite may process your email address and related signup information on our behalf. MailerLite may also use cookies or similar technologies to display or manage signup forms.

5. Analytics, Advertising, and Conversion Measurement
We use Google tools, including Google tags, Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tags, and Google Site Kit, to understand website use and measure campaign performance.

When you submit a lead form connected to a TDC campaign, we may use the submitted information to:
- send the requested event, publication, report, or briefing information;
- respond to your inquiry;
- register your interest in an event or program;
- send TDC updates or invitations if you consent or where otherwise permitted;
- measure campaign performance;
- maintain internal records of campaign responses.
We do not use lead-form data to infer sensitive personal characteristics. We do not ask you to provide political opinions, health information, financial account data, national identification numbers, or other sensitive information through advertising lead forms.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

TDC is based in Ukraine, and our service providers may process data in other countries, including countries outside your place of residence. Those countries may have different data-protection rules.

- newsletter records are kept while you remain subscribed and for a reasonable period after unsubscribe to maintain suppression and compliance records;
- event or inquiry records are kept as needed to manage the event, respond to the request, and maintain operational records;
- campaign lead data is kept only as long as needed for follow-up, campaign reporting, and legal or operational recordkeeping;
- analytics data is retained according to the settings of the analytics tools we use;
- security logs are kept for a limited period unless needed to investigate abuse or security incidents.
