Dariia Yaremchuk
Dariia Yaremchuk is a Project Assistant for the German-Ukrainian Partnership Program at the Transatlantic Dialogue Center, where she supports communication, translation, and project implementation.
She translates analytical materials and weekly news briefings into German and is responsible for their editorial preparation, formatting, and publication. She manages the dissemination of these materials on the Center’s website and oversees targeted email distributions for outreach to partners. Dariia also coordinates communication with volunteers and contributes to documenting and presenting the program’s ongoing activities. In addition, she assists in organizing events and project-related initiatives within the partnership program.
Before joining the Center, she collaborated with a notary office on legal translation and completed an internship at the translation bureau “L’agency.” She has also worked as a private German tutor, supporting learners at different proficiency levels. Her professional experience includes subtitling films for the Molodist Film Festival 2024. She regularly participates in international academic programs and training initiatives. She is also a member of the Association of German-Ukrainian Terminologists Nuterm.
Dariia holds a BA in Translation (German and English) with distinction from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and is currently pursuing an MA in Specialized Translation and Intercultural Management.
Dariia lived in Germany, where she studied studied at Otto-Friedrich University Bamberg as an academic exchange student and has taken part in seminars of the Central European Academy, on intercultural and transcultural communication at Ruhr University Bochum, and the course on digital technologies for the language within the project of the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena.
She speaks Ukrainian, German, and English.
