Maksym Chebotarov, U.S.–Ukraine Partnership Program Coordinator at the Transatlantic Dialogue Center (TDC), has joined the Ukraine–NATO Civil Society Consultative Network – a platform initiated by the National Interests Advocacy Network (ANTS) to strengthen cooperation between Ukrainian civil society, government institutions, NATO representatives, and the wider security and defence expert community.
Launched in Kyiv in July 2026, the Network brings together representatives of the Ukrainian government, NATO, the security and defence sector, think tanks, civil society organisations, veterans, and independent experts. Its purpose is to create a permanent space for strategic dialogue and practical coordination on Ukraine’s Euro-Atlantic integration.
The Network focuses on issues central to Ukraine’s path toward NATO membership, including security and defence reforms, interoperability with the Alliance, resilience, innovation, and the role of civil society in shaping evidence-based policy recommendations.
Through his participation, Chebotarov will contribute TDC’s expertise in transatlantic security, U.S.–Ukraine relations, democratic resilience, and long-term security policy. His engagement will also support closer coordination between Ukrainian experts and institutions, NATO representatives, and international partners – helping translate Ukraine’s frontline experience and analytical work into actionable policy proposals.

The Consultative Network creates an important space for turning expert dialogue into practical recommendations and building a stronger, mutually beneficial partnership between Ukraine and the Alliance,” Maksym Chebotarov said.
TDC’s participation in the Network reflects the organisation’s commitment to strengthening Ukraine’s Euro-Atlantic integration, supporting evidence-based reforms, and ensuring that Ukrainian perspectives and wartime experience contribute to the future security of the entire transatlantic community.
