On 3 March 2026, in Mexico City, the Mexico–Ukraine Friendship Group of the Chamber of Deputies held a working meeting with a delegation from the Transatlantic Dialogue Center (TDC) and the International Renaissance Foundation (IRF), in coordination with the Embassy of Ukraine in Mexico.

The TDC–IRF delegation included Oleksandr Slyvchuk, Alina Rohach, Bohdana Batsko, and Olha Kvashuk. The meeting was attended by Serhii Pohoreltsev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Mexico, and Victoria Khaladzhy, Political Affairs Counselor at the Embassy of Ukraine in Mexico, as well as Deputy Eleazar Guerrero Pérez (Chair of the Mexico–Ukraine Friendship Group) and Deputy Felipe Miguel Delgado Carrillo (Vice Chair), alongside other members of the group.

Ambassador Pohoreltsev underscored the importance of Mexico’s potential participation in the International Coalition for the Return of Ukrainian Children.
