Alina Rohach and Tetiana Zhukova Highlight War Realities on Argentine TV

As part of their working visit to Latin America, Alina Rohach, Project manager of the Spain and Latin America Cooperation Program, and Tetiana Zhukova, International Advocacy Manager at the Human Rights Centre ZMINA, took part in the Internacional segment on Todo Noticias in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on April 5.

During the program, the guests spoke about the ongoing Russian war of aggression against Ukraine and shared insights into the current situation in the country. The discussion covered possible scenarios for the development of the war and addressed the serious and systematic human rights violations committed by Russian forces in the occupied territories.

Both speakers emphasized the importance of a just peace for Ukraine — one that includes accountability for war crimes and long-term security guarantees. The broadcast served as an opportunity to strengthen connections between Ukrainian civil society and Latin American audiences, and to raise awareness in the region about the consequences of the war and the values that Ukraine is defending.
