During the interview, Slyvchuk emphasized Ukraine’s success in halting Russia’s advances despite facing a nuclear-armed adversary. He highlighted that while Russia initially sought a swift victory, its military campaign has stalled.
Slyvchuk also discussed the implications of U.S. foreign policy, particularly under the second Trump presidency. He pointed out that Trump’s focus on China and the Indo-Pacific has led to calls for Europe to take greater responsibility for its own defense.
