TDC President Maksym Skrypchenko participated in the recent opening of RAND’s new office in the Netherlands, sharing insights on Ukraine’s resilience in the face of ongoing geopolitical threats.
In his remarks, Maksym Skrypchenko highlighted Ukraine’s path in recognizing and countering the Russian threat, from rebuilding the armed forces to bolstering psychological, economic, and energy resilience. He emphasized Ukraine’s rapid pivot away from Russia, strengthening ties with the EU, and adapting to constant challenges with unity and resourcefulness.
The event also featured a panel discussion on strengthening societal resilience in times of heightened geopolitical tensions, with key figures including Ruben Brekelmans (Ministry of Defence), Marco Zannoni (NCTV), Ruth Harris, and Paul van Hooft (RAND Europe). Discussions centered on the need for collaboration across government, businesses, and communities to proactively address future crises, such as cyber threats and economic challenges.
