Discussion and Presentation of Research Results: “Recovery and Reintegration: Strategies for Economic Development and Social Cohesion”

On July 2, 2024, the Transatlantic Dialogue Center held an event titled “Recovery and Reintegration: Strategies for Economic Development and Social Cohesion.”

At first, the results of the research “Promoting Unity: Recommendations for the Development of a National Reintegration Strategy Based on the Experience of the Kharkiv and Kherson Regions” conducted by the Center in partnership with the Sociological Group “Rating” were presented.

Further, at the event, experts, government officials, and the public discussed the study’s key findings and pressing issues of recovery and reintegration, including the economic development of the frontline regions, challenges of the reconstruction process, employment of the local population, establishing interregional dialogue, and overcoming the differences in war experiences.

The invited speakers were Hlib Vyshlinskyi, Executive Director of the Center for Economic Strategies, Lidiia Yusina, Acting Director of the Department of Strategic Planning and Regional Policy of The Ministry of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine, Tetiana Skrypchenko, Project Manager of the Sociological Group Rating, Deputy Director of the Rating Group, Maksym Yakovliev, Director of the School of Political Analysis at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.
