The discussion was attended by experts, including CARI Secretary General and former Argentine Ambassador to Ukraine Lila Roldán Vázquez.

The main topic of the discussion was the challenges faced by the international legal system in connection with Russia’s aggression. Experts emphasized the importance of respecting the principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity of states, which are fundamental to maintaining international order.
Lila Roldán Vázquez emphasized the importance of international support for Ukraine in these difficult times, noting the role of individual countries in providing assistance. She also noted that Russia’s aggression poses a serious threat not only to Europe, but also to global security as a whole.
The participants emphasized the need to intensify efforts to strengthen international cooperation and support for Ukraine. The possibilities of involving Latin American countries, in particular Argentina, in these processes were considered. Experts discussed how Latin America can contribute to strengthening international law and maintaining global security through diplomatic, economic and humanitarian initiatives.
