Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Belgium to Ukraine visited TDC

Today, on 13 April, Maksym Skrypchenko, President of the Transatlantic Dialogue Center, and Oleksandr Slyvchuk, Coordinator of the Cooperation Program for Spain and Latin America, met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Belgium to Ukraine, Mr. Peter Van De Velde.

A number of important issues were discussed during the meeting. The TDC representatives presented to the Ambassador the directions, goals, and areas of activity of the Centre, and its history. In particular, discussed cooperation with partners from the United States, Germany, and Latin American countries, spoke about existing projects and initiatives, and shared the Centre’s plans for the future.

Special attention was paid to the issue of the functioning of the International Tribunal against Russia. TDC representatives and Mr. Ambassador shared their visions about the end of the war and the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine.

Finally, the parties discussed the possibilities of expanding cooperation with Belgium as well as other countries of the European Union and Latin America and expressed confidence and openness to further cooperation in the framework of joint activities.
