An air bombardment took place in Sumy on the evening of March 7. The city’s suburbs were also hit. In some settlements dwellings of civilians were destroyed, too. Almost in the center of Sumy on Romenskaya Street, several houses were laid to waste.
“It has been completely wiped off the ground. There were private houses. Unfortunately, killed victims are founded. Among them are children”, the head of the regional state administration stated.

The Mariupol City Council notes that today the Russian occupiers are continuing to fire on Mariupol, with all areas being destroyed by enemy fire. There are no streets left without broken windows, destroyed apartments, or even houses of civilians. It is difficult to determine the number of death, caused by Russian aggression, due to fact that the bodies of the dead victims are buried right in the yards of the residential sector.
The city is still without lighting, water, and even gas. So the citizens prepare food near the houses on the fires(a bonfire). However, the danger unites inhabitants: everyone helps each other. Mariupol was left without means of communication. The only opportunity to gain any info about the situation in the country is asking the military.
Also during the video address, Volodymyr Zelensky said that in the Mariupol for the decades, probably for the first time since World War II, a child died because of dehydration as a result of a humanitarian catastrophe. Russian occupiers continue blocking the evacuation of civilians.

Mariupol City Council shared details about the child who died of dehydration. 6-year-old Tanya was saved from under the rubble of the destroyed house. It is unknown how long the girl fought for her life. During the last minutes, she was alone Her mother died in shelling.
Mayor Vadym Boychenko commented on the tragedy:
“We can’t imagine how much suffering an innocent child had to endure. This is just one of the many stories of Mariupol, which has been surviving the blockade for eight days.
While in [Western countries] children go to school, in our city they are deprived of such an opportunity. They are deprived of peaceful childhood. But we can still save their peaceful future <…..> There is an urgent need to open a humanitarian corridor and save half a million Mariupol residents. <…..>.
