As part of the Brussels advocacy visit, representatives of the Transatlantic Dialogue Center held a series of high-level meetings with EU policymakers and leading European think tanks to discuss the strategic benefits of Ukraine’s future EU membership.
The meetings centred on Ukraine’s EU accession process, the strategic value of enlargement for the European Union, and the opportunities created by the launch of the first negotiation cluster. During the discussions, TDC shared takeaways from its latest analytical paper, “The EU’s Next Chapter: Economic, Political and Security Gains from Ukraine’s Accession”, which received positive feedback as a timely contribution to ongoing policy discussions on Ukraine’s accession and its benefits for the European Union.
Representatives of the EU institutions emphasised the importance of sustained engagement throughout the accession process, noting that analytical contributions such as TDC’s research can help inform policy discussions and institutional assessments of Ukraine’s progress.

The visit underscored the value of sustained dialogue between Ukrainian experts and European policymakers. By combining evidence-based analysis with direct engagement, TDC continues to contribute to a more informed and forward-looking debate on Ukraine’s future membership of the European Union.
