Maksym Skrypchenko

Maksym is a prolific author and expert on foreign affairs, with a focus on Eastern Europe, Ukraine’s national security, and the Russian invasion of Ukraine. His core areas of expertise include bilateral Ukraine–US relations, the future of European security, US–EU–Ukraine security cooperation, and broader strategic concepts shaping Ukraine’s national security policy.
He is widely published in leading international media, including The Wall Street Journal, The Hill, the Atlantic Council, Al Jazeera, Anadolu Agency, etc. He has also provided expert commentary to numerous other outlets such as The Washington Post, The New York Times, The New Yorker, and various Ukrainian and international television and online platforms, regularly contributing to the public and policy debates on global security and Ukraine-related issues.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and a Master’s degree in European Studies, both from the Institute of International Relations at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Maksym is a non-resident scholar at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and an active member of several professional organizations.
Desde 2021, se ha desempeñado como Presidente del Centro de Diálogo Transatlántico, donde lidera iniciativas para fortalecer el entendimiento y la cooperación entre Europa, Ucrania y Estados Unidos. Bajo su liderazgo, el Centro se ha convertido en una voz destacada en la comunidad política transatlántica, ofreciendo análisis expertos y recomendaciones estratégicas sobre cuestiones clave de seguridad y geopolítica.
