On April 4, 2025, Oleksandr Slyvchuk, Coordinator of the Spain and Latin America Cooperation Program, took part in the seminar “Ucrania Resiste” in Córdoba, Argentina. The event was organized by the SUVICO trade union (Sindicato Único de Vigilancia y Seguridad Comercial, Industrial e Investigaciones Privadas de Córdoba) and the Honorary Consulate of the Czech Republic in Córdoba, with the support of the International Renaissance Foundation.

The seminar provided a platform to discuss the current situation in Ukraine and the global consequences of Russia’s full-scale war of aggression. Oleksandr Slyvchuk presented key arguments on why Ukraine must be supported, highlighting the ongoing Russian war crimes, the scale of civilian suffering, and the broader threat posed by the Kremlin’s authoritarian regime.
Speakers emphasized that the Russian Federation remains a source of instability and repression, both within its borders and abroad. They warned against continuing or initiating business relations with Russia, noting that economic engagement with a regime responsible for systematic atrocities undermines international law and democratic values.

The event served as an important space for public engagement in Córdoba, raising awareness about the nature of the war and encouraging solidarity with Ukraine. It also underscored the role of civil society and local institutions in confronting disinformation and mobilizing support for justice, sovereignty, and lasting peace.
