On March 31, 2025, Ukrainian experts from the Transatlantic Dialogue Center and the Human Rights Center ZMINA met with young Argentine leaders during a special event hosted at the Embassy of Ukraine in Buenos Aires. The participants are part of Youth Diplomats — an interactive foreign policy simulation developed by the civil society organization Kairos Global, which immerses youth in the complex dynamics of global decision-making and international diplomacy. Founded in 2019, Kairos Global is committed to fostering democratic values and human rights through youth leadership and civic education.

During the discussion, Ukrainian speakers and program participants explored key issues such as the current state of diplomatic negotiations in the context of the Russian-Ukrainian war, the role of the United States, the legal and political challenges of holding democratic elections under wartime conditions, and the mechanisms through which Russia spreads disinformation and manipulates public opinion.

This exchange not only deepened participants’ understanding of Ukraine’s ongoing struggle for sovereignty, but also underscored the broader importance of preparing future leaders to engage thoughtfully with the geopolitical challenges of our time.
