On October 8, Argentine parliamentarian Ivan Dubois in the Parliament of the Southern Common Market (PARLASUR) met with Ukrainian Deputy Foreign Minister Yevhen Perebyinis.
Yevhen Perebyinis emphasized the importance of international support in the fight against Russian aggression and thanked Argentina for President Javier Milei’s participation in the First Peace Summit. He also urged the Argentine side to actively participate in future international events organized by Ukraine and expressed gratitude for support of Ukrainian resolutions in international organizations.
Both parties exchanged views on the prospects for developing bilateral relations in the political sphere, particularly interparliamentary dialogue. Special attention was given to the development of economic and trade cooperation and the strengthening of cultural and humanitarian ties. Yevhen Perebyinis also requested the continuation of humanitarian assistance to Ukraine.
The parties reaffirmed their intention to develop close cooperation to deepen bilateral relations between Ukraine and Argentina.
The visit was organized by the non-governmental organizations “Transatlantic Dialogue Center” and “Resilient Ukraine.”
