TDC meets President of Citizens for a Secure and Safe America

On his working visit to Washington D.C, Maksym Skrypchenko met with Muhammad Bakr Ghbeis, president of Citizens for a Secure and Safe America, a nongovernmental organization whose mission is to promote democratic change in Syria.

In the warm natural surrounding they discussed a set of relevant issues ranging from Russia’s nuclear threat and news from Ukrainian frontline to Special Tribunal for the crimes of Russian political establishment in Ukraine.

The common experience of Russia’s long time impunity brings together experts who are working with the consequences of atrocities in both Syria and Ukraine. The undeniable similarities of Russian strategies of targeting the civilians in those conflicts makes them put even more efforts into punishment of the guilty.

“It’s been an honor to meet Muhammad, and I’m looking forward to more cooperation in future!”, Mr Skrypchenko told.
