Oleksandr Slyvchuk

Oleksandr Slyvchuk is the Coordinator of the Spain and Latin America Cooperation Program at the Transatlantic Dialogue Center, where he leads research and advocacy projects with partners in Spain, Argentina, Chile, and Brazil. 

Su trabajo se centra en fortalecer la cooperación con las partes interesadas de habla hispana y en promover asociaciones en España y América Latina mediante la organización de conferencias internacionales y la coordinación de campañas de comunicación para audiencias de habla hispana sobre la situación actual de Ucrania. 

His research interests include Spanish foreign policy, international security, Ukrainian foreign policy, armed conflicts, and Eastern Europe. 

Oleksandr’s analyses and comments have been published by El País and El Mundo (Spain), Infobae (Argentina), La Tercera (Chile), Estadão (Brasil). 

Before joining the Center, he was a Visiting Teaching Fellow on International Relations at the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (Ukraine). Oleksandr also worked at the Ukrainian Institute for International Politics, where he contributed to projects on Ukraine’s regional development within the framework of EU integration.

Oleksandr is currently based in Spain pursuing a PhD in International Relations at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He also lived in the Czech Republic for several years, where he pursued his MA in Political Science from Masaryk University. Oleksandr holds a BA in International Relations from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
