Latest Ukraine War Update
- According to the August 9-15 briefing, daily combat engagements remained very high, ranging from 204 to 254 and totaling 1,593 over the week, or about 228 per day.
- Russia conducted 546 airstrikes and dropped 1,824 guided aerial bombs, while regular nighttime attacks again used more than 100 Shahed-type UAVs.
- The largest UAV attacks listed in the report included 202 attack drones on August 9 and 138 on August 12.
- Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka were the main concentration of Russian ground attacks, with 197 attacks recorded in each area over the week.
- Ukrainian strikes were recorded against air-defense systems, radar stations, command posts, warehouses, UAV relay stations, oil and petrochemical facilities, rocket-space infrastructure, and the Savasleyka airfield.
