On 3 March 2026, in Mexico City, the Mexico\u2013Ukraine Friendship Group of the Chamber of Deputies held a working meeting with a delegation from the Transatlantic Dialogue Center (TDC) and the International Renaissance Foundation (IRF), in coordination with the Embassy of Ukraine in Mexico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The TDC\u2013IRF delegation included Oleksandr Slyvchuk, Alina Rohach, Bohdana Batsko, and Olha Kvashuk. The meeting was attended by Serhii Pohoreltsev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Mexico, and Victoria Khaladzhy, Political Affairs Counselor at the Embassy of Ukraine in Mexico, as well as Deputy Eleazar Guerrero P\u00e9rez (Chair of the Mexico\u2013Ukraine Friendship Group) and Deputy Felipe Miguel Delgado Carrillo (Vice Chair), alongside other members of the group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The discussion focused on the humanitarian architecture of peace, perspectives from Ukrainian civil society on peace prospects, the human rights situation of civilians in the context of international humanitarian law, and the war\u2019s impact on children, including family separation and reunification challenges. Ambassador Pohoreltsev underscored the importance of Mexico\u2019s potential participation in the International Coalition for the Return of Ukrainian Children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
