The gathering brought together TDC representative, Ukrainian diplomats in Brazil and the assistants and advisors of various Brazilian senators. The discussion started with an in-depth look at the current political and security situation in Ukraine, including the ongoing peace-making process with the Russian Federation. A significant part of the conversation was dedicated to understanding the perspective of Ukrainian society on how to end the war. The group also explored the diplomatic relationship between Ukraine and Brazil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A central point of the discussion was the issue of Russian disinformation in Brazil and across Latin America. The TDC highlighted its role in providing truthful information to counter the misinformation and myths being spread about Ukraine. This exchange was particularly important for sharing different global perspectives on the situation and how various nations are viewing and responding to the actions of the Russian Federation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Transatlantic Dialogue Centre is committed to continuing its engagement with the Brazilian government and the Senate.
