Rohach’s article delves into the current reality on the ground, where the war has become a battle of attrition. She highlights the minimal territorial changes along the front lines, particularly in eastern regions, contrasting with an alarming escalation in aerial attacks. The piece details how Russia is intensifying its use of drones and missiles against Ukrainian civilian and critical infrastructure, noting an increase in the scale and frequency of these bombardments, with record-breaking attacks like the 728 drones launched on a single night in early July 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite these immense pressures, Rohach observes a remarkable resilience and high societal cohesion within Ukraine, even as discussions around “war fatigue” become more prevalent internationally.
