{"id":27250,"date":"2024-12-10T10:59:59","date_gmt":"2024-12-10T08:59:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tdcenter.org\/?p=27250"},"modified":"2025-08-05T21:08:15","modified_gmt":"2025-08-05T18:08:15","slug":"tdc-co-organizes-parliamentary-breakfast-in-the-german-bundestag","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tdcenter.org\/uk\/2024\/12\/10\/tdc-co-organizes-parliamentary-breakfast-in-the-german-bundestag\/","title":{"rendered":"TDC Co-Organizes Parliamentary Breakfast in the German Bundestag"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On December 4, 2024, a significant parliamentary breakfast took place in the German Bundestag, organized by the Transatlantic Dialogue Center in collaboration with the Alliance of Ukrainian Organizations and Members of Parliament Roderich Kiesewetter (CDU), Robin Wagener (B\u00fcndnis 90\/Die Gr\u00fcnen), and Nils Schmid (SPD).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The focus of the event was on the question: \u201cWhat is at stake for Germany and the EU?\u201d in light of Russia&#8217;s war of aggression against Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The experts examined the topic from different perspectives:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Military &amp; Security \u2013 Gustav Gressel, PhD<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Economics \u2013 Prof. Dr. Stefan Kooths<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Civil Society \u2013 Ljudmyla Melnyk<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The experts made a strong case for supporting Ukraine and emphasized the need for robust European cooperation.
