Now, due to Russian aggression and a complete halt in food exports across the Black Sea, Ukraine cannot export wheat, sunflower oil and other food products. Most of all, the countries of the Middle East and North Africa, which are used to buying Ukrainian wheat, now suffer from the war. Indonesia, Pakistan and Bangladesh were also dependent on the export of Ukrainian grain. World prices for a number of food products are breaking records, and many countries may face a severe food crisis. Food insecurity is already sharply worsening in regions at risk, with 6 million children have been already underfed and nearly 16 million people in urban areas is living on the brink of starvation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tdcenter.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/image-89.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3548\" width=\"634\" height=\"333\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tdcenter.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/image-89.png 505w, https:\/\/tdcenter.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/image-89-18x9.png 18w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 634px) 100vw, 634px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Se non si prendono in considerazione Ucraina e Russia e si spera in altri fornitori di cereali, anche altri Paesi stanno attraversando difficolt\u00e0. Per esempio, in Argentina il raccolto di grano \u00e8 stato molto inferiore a causa della siccit\u00e0. Anche la Cina ha dovuto affrontare sfide naturali. L\u2019indice di crescita dei prezzi mondiali di un paniere di beni lo scorso mese si \u00e8 attestato in media a 159.3 punti, il 12.6 % in pi\u00f9 rispetto a febbraio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La crisi alimentare globale dovuta all\u2019invasione dell\u2019esercito russo in Ucraina \u00e8 inevitabile, poich\u00e9 la Russia e l\u2019Ucraina rappresentano rispettivamente circa il 30 % e il 20 % delle esportazioni mondiali di grano e mais. Inoltre, l\u2019Ucraina \u00e8 al primo posto al mondo per l\u2019esportazione di olio di girasole e la Russia al secondo. Tutto il mondo civilizzato comprende che \u00e8 necessario trovare una via d\u2019uscita da questa situazione affinch\u00e9 il mondo non finisca sull\u2019orlo della fame, ma Putin ha un\u2019opinione completamente diversa in merito.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Russia has hosted another sectoral meeting dedicated to the most painful and sensitive topic for the most Russians &#8211; food and the agro-industrial complex that produces it. Over the past month, price tags in stores have been rewritten more than once, and some goods are still in short supply. At the meeting, Putin said that in the face of global food shortages, Russia should \u201cclosely monitor\u201d export to countries with \u201copenly hostile policies\u201d, which indicates that Putin intends to use the crisis he has organized as a leverage to put pressure on countries that support Ukraine and oppose Russian aggression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Il mondo si trova quindi di fronte alla prospettiva di una crisi alimentare globale, che sar\u00e0 molto difficile risolvere. Per evitare una crisi, il mondo deve unirsi e respingere l\u2019aggressione russa, che riguarda ormai non solo l\u2019Ucraina, ma il mondo intero. Non ci si pu\u00f2 lasciare condizionare dall\u2019aggressore: occorre rafforzare le sanzioni ed esercitare la massima pressione sull\u2019economia della Federazione Russa.
