Il 6 marzo 2026, Alina Rohach<\/strong>, responsabile di progetto del Programma di cooperazione con la Spagna e l\u2019America Latina del Centro per il Dialogo Transatlantico, Bohdana Batsko<\/strong>, assistente di progetto dello stesso programma, e Olha Kvashuk<\/strong>, responsabile del programma \u00abL\u2019Europa e il mondo\u00bb presso l\u2019International Renaissance Foundation, hanno rilasciato dichiarazioni per una rubrica di Israel L\u00f3pez Guti\u00e9rrez pubblicata su El Heraldo (quotidiano nazionale messicano).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La rubrica evidenzia come il ruolo delle donne ucraine si sia ampliato durante la guerra su vasta scala condotta dalla Russia: oltre agli impegni lavorativi e familiari, le donne sono sempre pi\u00f9 attive nel volontariato, in campo medico, alla guida di organizzazioni della societ\u00e0 civile, nella vita pubblica e nel servizio militare. L\u2019articolo rileva che circa \u00ab70.000\u00bb donne prestano attualmente servizio nelle Forze armate dell\u2019Ucraina<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Batsko ha sottolineato che il ruolo delle donne in Ucraina \u00e8 in crescita dal 2014 e ha descritto il \u00abdoppio carico\u00bb sopportato da molte donne<\/strong> \u2014 prendersi cura dei figli e gestire la casa, lavorando al contempo per garantire un reddito mentre gli uomini prestano servizio nelle forze armate. Ha inoltre osservato che molte giovani donne scelgono di arruolarsi spinte dai propri valori e con la chiara consapevolezza che l\u2019esito della guerra dipende anche dalle donne, non solo dagli uomini.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rohach ha evidenziato che la guerra ha accelerato i cambiamenti nei ruoli delle donne nella societ\u00e0 ucraina, superando le limitazioni legate all\u2019eredit\u00e0 sovietica. Ha sottolineato che le donne nelle Forze armate non sono relegate a incarichi amministrativi: molte operano in prima linea e ricoprono ruoli di comando. Ha inoltre richiamato l\u2019attenzione sul ruolo crescente delle donne nella diplomazia pubblica e sull\u2019aumento del numero di ambasciatrici.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
