Ha sottolineato che, finch\u00e9 gli Stati Uniti continueranno a fornire intelligence e armi prodotte negli Stati Uniti e finanziate dagli alleati europei, \u00e8 probabile che il coordinamento transatlantico sull'Ucraina regga. Al contempo, ha avvertito che nel prossimo futuro sono improbabili nuove iniziative di rilievo da parte degli Stati Uniti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Ha inoltre evidenziato lo scambio previsto di circa <em>500 prigionieri di guerra<\/em> come uno dei pochi esiti realmente pratici dei negoziati in corso tra Ucraina e Russia. Con oltre 6,000 prigionieri di guerra ucraini ancora segnalati in custodia russa e circa 4,000 prigionieri di guerra russi in Ucraina, esiste <em>la possibilit\u00e0 di ulteriori scambi <\/em>\u2014 sebbene pi\u00f9 ampie svolte diplomatiche restino improbabili nel prossimo futuro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Passando alla traiettoria europea dell'Ucraina, Rusyn ha sottolineato che <em>l'adesione all'UE rimane l'obiettivo strategico centrale dell'Ucraina<\/em>, ma i tempi sono vincolati sia dalla realt\u00e0 politica sia da quella procedurale. Ha indicato il crescente dibattito sull'adattamento del quadro di allargamento dell'UE all'attuale contesto di sicurezza, compreso un possibile modello di <em>\u00abintegrazione graduale\u00bb<\/em>.
