week.<\/li>\n<li>Fighting in the South-Slobozhanskyi direction intensified from September 16, rising from 5-6 attacks per day to 17 attacks per day on September 16-17.<\/li>\n<li>In one overnight attack, Ukrainian air defense shot down 405 of 453 Russian drones, as well as four Banderol loitering munitions.<\/li>\n<li>Ukrainian forces liberated Serednie and pushed Russian forces back near Shandryholove, while local Russian advances were reported in several other sectors.<\/li>\n<li>Ukrainian strikes targeted Russian oil refineries, UAV production and control facilities, military
