Dans son allocution aux premi\u00e8res heures du 24 f\u00e9vrier, Poutine, s\u2019adressant aux Forces arm\u00e9es ukrainiennes, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 : \u00ab Prenez le pouvoir entre vos mains. Il semble qu\u2019il nous sera plus facile de nous entendre avec vous qu\u2019avec cette bande de toxicomanes et de n\u00e9onazis qui se sont install\u00e9s \u00e0 Kyiv et ont pris tout le peuple ukrainien en otage. \u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Later, the Kremlin and the pro-government media began to substitute certain concepts: \u201cnationalists\u201d and \u201cneo-Nazis\u201d became synonymous with the Ukrainian Army, volunteer battalions, and territorial defense forces, which undoubtedly put up massive resistance to the Russian troops. Pro-Kremlin media headlines and newscast rhetoric are replete with phrases about \u201chours spent under targeted fire by nationalists\u201d or Russian units and their proxies \u201cwho managed to drive nationalists out of the most residential areas in the city.\u201d Moreover, after a month of war, Kremlin propagandists refer to almost all Ukrainians daring to oppose Russian occupation as \u201cNazis.\u201d For example, for Margarita Simonyan, the head of one of the Kremlin&#8217;s main mouthpieces, RT, it came as an unpleasant surprise that &#8220;a significant part of Ukraine was engulfed in the madness of Nazism.&#8221; At one of the panel shows, she said: \u201cPreviously, I also thought that there were a few of them, but I definitely could not imagine that there were so many!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Why does Russian propaganda massively and indiscriminately brands all Ukrainians as Nazis? First of all, it\u2019s about dehumanizing the nation in the eyes of the Russians. The Kremlin needs to give them something that will make Russians hate Ukrainians and justify in their eyes the atrocities committed against Ukrainians by the Russian military, the annihilation of Ukrainian cities. How could this be done? It turned out to be that simple: to an average Russian, who has been under the harsh influence of the Kremlin&#8217;s propaganda machine for years, it\u2019s enough to say: &#8220;You know what? They are all Nazis there, we shouldn\u2019t feel sorry for them, it\u2019s okay to kill them all!\u201d Which is what the Russian forces are doing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pendant ce temps, en Russie, des personnes sont arr\u00eat\u00e9es et poursuivies pour des slogans tels que \u00ab Non au fascisme \u00bb et \u00ab le fascisme ne passera pas \u00bb : ces slogans sont d\u00e9sormais assimil\u00e9s au \u00ab discr\u00e9dit \u00bb des Forces arm\u00e9es de la F\u00e9d\u00e9ration de Russie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a><\/a>Putin&#8217;s statements that the power in Ukraine is controlled by neo-Nazis is nothing but perfidious insinuation. As any other country, Ukraine has some problems with far-right movements. In Russia itself, there are no fewer ultra-right, neo-Nazi and nationalist, sharply xenophobic groups and organizations close to them in spirit. Moreover, there are people today in the Russian power circles who back in the day used to openly back extremely nationalist views and participated in the infamous \u201cRussian Marches.\u201d Traditionally, Russian law enforcement are trying to find a \u201cUkrainian trace\u201d in pretty much anything, presenting ultra-right groups as &#8220;branches of Ukrainian radical movements.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L\u2019ultradroite russe occupe assez souvent le devant de la sc\u00e8ne m\u00e9diatique ; les bandes de skinheads qui terrorisent et assassinent des repr\u00e9sentants de diverses ethnies d\u2019Asie centrale restent nombreuses, tandis que les nationalistes primitifs continuent d\u2019entonner leur refrain favori : \u00ab Moscou aux Moscovites \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Everyone knows that Russia has long and regularly accused former Soviet republics that have made integration with the civilized world and Europe their priority of &#8220;rehabilitating Nazism and supporting neo-Nazism,&#8221; being itself its main breeding ground.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;De-Nazification&#8221; of Ukraine is one of the key objectives of and main justifications behind the Russian invasion.
