Entre el p\u00fablico se encontraban estudiantes mexicanos de secundaria y universitarios que participaban en la simulaci\u00f3n de los \u00f3rganos de la ONU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La conferencia, titulada \u00abLa preservaci\u00f3n del patrimonio cultural inmaterial en Ucrania en un contexto de desplazamiento y trastornos sociales derivados del conflicto armado\u00bb, se centr\u00f3 en c\u00f3mo la guerra de Rusia contra Ucrania amenaza no solo los lugares e infraestructuras culturales, sino tambi\u00e9n las pr\u00e1cticas culturales vivas que las comunidades preservan y transmiten de generaci\u00f3n en generaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\"><strong>Un punto clave <\/strong>de la conferencia fue que la agresi\u00f3n rusa pone en peligro tanto el patrimonio cultural material como el inmaterial. Si bien los museos, las bibliotecas, los monumentos hist\u00f3ricos y las infraestructuras culturales sufren da\u00f1os directos a causa de la guerra, existe tambi\u00e9n una amenaza menos visible: la destrucci\u00f3n de los entornos sociales en los que se transmiten las tradiciones, la artesan\u00eda, las canciones, los conocimientos, las costumbres y las pr\u00e1cticas culturales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">La conferencia tambi\u00e9n abord\u00f3 <strong>la identidad cultural como una de las dimensiones centrales<\/strong> de la guerra de Rusia contra Ucrania. Se prest\u00f3 especial atenci\u00f3n a las pol\u00edticas de Rusia en los territorios ucranianos ocupados temporalmente, incluidas las restricciones al uso de la lengua ucraniana, la sustituci\u00f3n de la educaci\u00f3n ucraniana por planes de estudios rusos y la reescritura de los relatos hist\u00f3ricos. Estas pr\u00e1cticas afectan no solo a la educaci\u00f3n, sino tambi\u00e9n a la capacidad de las futuras generaciones para mantener un v\u00ednculo con su lengua, su cultura y su memoria hist\u00f3rica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Otro tema central fue <strong>el impacto del desplazamiento forzoso en el patrimonio inmaterial<\/strong>. Cuando las comunidades quedan separadas entre diferentes regiones y pa\u00edses, se ven interrumpidas las formas tradicionales de transmitir los conocimientos culturales de generaci\u00f3n en generaci\u00f3n. Al mismo tiempo, las comunidades ucranianas desplazadas siguen conservando sus pr\u00e1cticas, adapt\u00e1ndolas a las nuevas condiciones y creando nuevos espacios para la cultura ucraniana en el extranjero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">The lecture also highlighted that the <strong>destruction of cultural infrastructure has consequences<\/strong> beyond the loss of physical buildings. The destruction of cultural centers, art schools, libraries, and community spaces also means the loss of places where communities learned, gathered, organized cultural events, and passed on traditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">An important part of the discussion was the role of <strong>UNESCO<\/strong> and international mechanisms for protecting cultural heritage during armed conflicts. The key message was that protecting Ukraine\u2019s cultural heritage is not only about preserving monuments and cultural objects, but also about supporting the people and communities who carry living traditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Participation in <strong>LAMUN XXXIX<\/strong> offered an opportunity to bring Ukraine\u2019s experience to young audiences in Latin America, particularly in Mexico.
