La discusi\u00f3n reuni\u00f3 a estudiantes de Relaciones Internacionales, principalmente de la UNAM, as\u00ed como de otras universidades, acad\u00e9micos y colegas de centros de pensamiento para un intercambio sobre la cooperaci\u00f3n entre Ucrania y Am\u00e9rica Latina y sus perspectivas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Entre los puntos clave abordados durante la charla figuraron:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\" translation-block\">las fortalezas y limitaciones de la <strong>cooperaci\u00f3n entre Ucrania y Am\u00e9rica Latina<\/strong>: valores democr\u00e1ticos compartidos y una visi\u00f3n similar del orden internacional, pero una atenci\u00f3n hist\u00f3ricamente limitada, una presencia diplom\u00e1tica modesta y bajos vol\u00famenes comerciales;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\" translation-block\">c\u00f3mo el inter\u00e9s mutuo entre Ucrania y Am\u00e9rica Latina ha <strong>aumentado considerablemente desde 2022<\/strong> como consecuencia de la invasi\u00f3n rusa a gran escala;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\" translation-block\">el cambiante entorno informativo: si bien la desinformaci\u00f3n pro-Kremlin fue m\u00e1s visible a comienzos de 2022, el espacio para la propaganda se ha reducido con el tiempo, <strong>la simpat\u00eda hacia Ucrania ha crecido<\/strong> y narrativas como la de los \u00abnazis en Ucrania\u00bb se han vuelto cada vez m\u00e1s marginales;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\" translation-block\">un desaf\u00edo persistente en la regi\u00f3n: las percepciones de Estados Unidos y la OTAN como antagonistas, as\u00ed como la necesidad de explicar claramente que <strong>Rusia no se est\u00e1 \u00abdefendiendo de la OTAN\u00bb<\/strong> al atacar a Ucrania, y que la afirmaci\u00f3n de que <strong>la expansi\u00f3n de la OTAN \u00abprovoc\u00f3\u00bb la guerra es un mito<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\" translation-block\">la importancia de desmontar otro malentendido arraigado: <strong>Rusia no es defensora de las ideas de \u00abizquierda\u00bb<\/strong> ni de los grupos vulnerables; esta narrativa est\u00e1 arraigada en los marcos interpretativos de la \u00e9poca sovi\u00e9tica, mientras que hoy Rusia promueve posiciones de extrema derecha y revisionistas, y viola sistem\u00e1ticamente el derecho internacional;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\" translation-block\">una conclusi\u00f3n alentadora: <strong>la comunidad acad\u00e9mica mexicana interpreta en gran medida correctamente la guerra ruso-ucraniana<\/strong>, incluida como una violaci\u00f3n del derecho internacional, aunque la neutralidad hist\u00f3rica de M\u00e9xico sigue configurando una participaci\u00f3n cautelosa en algunas iniciativas internacionales relacionadas con la guerra;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\" translation-block\">el considerable <strong>potencial no aprovechado de la cooperaci\u00f3n entre Ucrania y M\u00e9xico<\/strong>, especialmente en los \u00e1mbitos acad\u00e9mico y medi\u00e1tico: el fuerte inter\u00e9s de la UNAM en colaborar con contrapartes ucranianas se\u00f1ala pr\u00f3ximos pasos concretos, incluidos intercambios, conferencias conjuntas, paneles, debates y una cooperaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s profunda que ayude a superar la brecha previa en el compromiso sostenido.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Agradecemos a la <strong>UNAM<\/strong> y a todos los participantes por una discusi\u00f3n activa y sustantiva.
