El 6 de marzo de 2026, Alina Rohach<\/strong>, Gestora de proyectos del Programa de Cooperaci\u00f3n para Espa\u00f1a y Latinoam\u00e9rica del Transatlantic Dialogue Center, Bohdana Batsko<\/strong>, Asistente de proyectos del mismo programa, y Olha Kvashuk<\/strong>, Gestora del Programa \u00abEuropa y el Mundo\u00bb de la International Renaissance Foundation, ofrecieron comentarios para una columna de Israel L\u00f3pez Guti\u00e9rrez publicada en El Heraldo, un diario nacional mexicano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La columna destaca c\u00f3mo el papel de las mujeres ucranianas se ha ampliado durante la guerra a gran escala de Rusia: junto con las responsabilidades laborales y familiares, las mujeres participan cada vez m\u00e1s activamente en el voluntariado, la medicina, el liderazgo de la sociedad civil, la vida p\u00fablica y el servicio militar. El art\u00edculo se\u00f1ala que alrededor de \u00ab70 000\u00bb mujeres sirven actualmente en las Fuerzas Armadas de Ucrania<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Batsko subray\u00f3 que el papel de las mujeres en Ucrania ha ido creciendo desde 2014 y describi\u00f3 la \u00abdoble carga\u00bb que soportan muchas mujeres<\/strong>: cuidar de los hijos y gestionar el hogar, al tiempo que trabajan para aportar ingresos mientras los hombres sirven en las Fuerzas Armadas. Tambi\u00e9n se\u00f1al\u00f3 que muchas j\u00f3venes se incorporan al ej\u00e9rcito como una elecci\u00f3n basada en valores y con una clara comprensi\u00f3n de que el resultado de la guerra depende tambi\u00e9n de las mujeres, no solo de los hombres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rohach enfatiz\u00f3 que la guerra ha acelerado los cambios en los roles de las mujeres en la sociedad ucraniana, superando limitaciones vinculadas al legado sovi\u00e9tico. Subray\u00f3 que las mujeres en las Fuerzas Armadas no se limitan a funciones administrativas: muchas sirven en la l\u00ednea del frente y en puestos de liderazgo. Tambi\u00e9n se\u00f1al\u00f3 el creciente liderazgo femenino en la diplomacia p\u00fablica, incluido el aumento del n\u00famero de mujeres que ejercen como embajadoras.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
