En una entrevista con Beijing News, Maksym Chebotarov, coordinador del Programa de Cooperaci\u00f3n EE.UU.-Ucrania, subray\u00f3 que las sanciones de Estados Unidos y la UE contra Rusia difieren en algunos aspectos: mientras Washington apunta al petr\u00f3leo ruso, la UE se centra en el gas natural licuado y no ha impuesto sanciones a la empresa privada rusa Lukoil. En su opini\u00f3n, las sanciones de Estados Unidos y la UE, junto con la cancelaci\u00f3n de la Cumbre de Budapest, est\u00e1n concebidas para elevar el coste de la guerra para Rusia, manteniendo al mismo tiempo abiertos los canales de di\u00e1logo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chebotarov tambi\u00e9n se\u00f1al\u00f3 que la declaraci\u00f3n de Trump de estar \u201cprofundamente decepcionado\u201d no significa que vaya a cortar el contacto con Rusia, sino que constituye un nuevo movimiento t\u00e1ctico.
