Al abrir el debate, las ponentes subrayaron que la guerra de Rusia contra Ucrania no comenz\u00f3 en 2022, sino en 2014, con la ocupaci\u00f3n de Crimea y el inicio de las hostilidades en Donetsk y Luhansk. Como se\u00f1al\u00f3 Rohach, las narrativas propagand\u00edsticas de Rusia \u2014 sobre una supuesta crisis interna, la \u201cprotecci\u00f3n\u201d de los hablantes de ruso o la idea de un \u201csolo pueblo\u201d \u2014 fueron construidas deliberadamente para disfrazar la agresi\u00f3n y socavar la legitimidad de Ucrania. El panel tambi\u00e9n abord\u00f3 los par\u00e1metros de una paz justa<\/em>. Rohach destac\u00f3 que cualquier acuerdo que recompense la agresi\u00f3n o congele las actuales l\u00edneas de ocupaci\u00f3n solo institucionalizar\u00eda la inestabilidad futura. Advirti\u00f3 que las soluciones r\u00e1pidas desvinculadas del derecho internacional no har\u00edan m\u00e1s que retrasar la pr\u00f3xima escalada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Al abordar el tema de la reconstrucci\u00f3n, Batsko describi\u00f3 la recuperaci\u00f3n de Ucrania como un proceso inherentemente pol\u00edtico, vinculado a su camino de integraci\u00f3n europea.
