La conferencia estuvo a cargo de Dan Whitman, diplom\u00e1tico estadounidense, profesor de la Universidad George Washington y miembro del Instituto de Investigaci\u00f3n de Pol\u00edtica Exterior (FPRI). Durante la conferencia, Whitman esboz\u00f3 los fundamentos te\u00f3ricos y los or\u00edgenes hist\u00f3ricos de la propaganda, proporcionando diversos enfoques sobre su definici\u00f3n, significado y manifestaciones en las relaciones internacionales. Tambi\u00e9n destac\u00f3 la importancia del pensamiento cr\u00edtico y la alfabetizaci\u00f3n medi\u00e1tica para contrarrestar las manipulaciones y la desinformaci\u00f3n, que a menudo son componentes integrales de la propaganda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La conferencia despert\u00f3 un gran inter\u00e9s entre los estudiantes, que tuvieron la oportunidad de hacer preguntas al profesor Whitman y recibir respuestas detalladas.
