They, in turn, clearly distinguish the case of Ukraine from Afghanistan, which is often compared in the context of formats and volumes of US assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">First of all, it should be noted that in this context, this set will include <strong>rather unique aspects of the Ukrainian case<\/strong>, which in combination formed an informal strategy of resistance and a deep system of stability of the Ukrainian society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-deep-society\"><strong>Deep society<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"312\" height=\"175\" src=\"https:\/\/tdcenter.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/image-3.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5625\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tdcenter.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/image-3.png 312w, https:\/\/tdcenter.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/image-3-18x10.png 18w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 312px) 100vw, 312px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A well-established network of both official and unofficial societal and community organizations within Ukrainian to a very big extent provided for stronger and more rapid mobilization on all possible fronts. Thus, the conflict quickly became polarized, and clear definitions of the warring parties were obtained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-factor-of-war-crimes-and-genocide\"><strong>The factor of war crimes and genocide<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"357\" height=\"171\" src=\"https:\/\/tdcenter.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/image-5.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5627\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tdcenter.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/image-5.png 357w, https:\/\/tdcenter.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/image-5-18x9.png 18w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 357px) 100vw, 357px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this case, the psychology of intimidation used by the Russian Federation at the hands of its military &#8211; for example, the events in Bucha, Irpin, and Mariupol &#8211; did not work as expected and had the opposite effect. The lack of success of the Russians at the front and the ability of the Ukrainian army to offer adequate resistance provoked <strong>unity and resentment in response to intimidation rather than the expected shock and apathy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-effective-top-down-communication\"><strong>Effective top-down communication<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"245\" height=\"252\" src=\"https:\/\/tdcenter.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/image-7.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5629\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tdcenter.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/image-7.png 245w, https:\/\/tdcenter.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/image-7-12x12.png 12w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 245px) 100vw, 245px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From the first day of the full-scale invasion, the Ukrainian authorities, represented by President Volodymyr Zelensky, Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, and Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov, have been in <strong>constant direct contact with the public<\/strong> through informational video appeals, press briefings, and social networks. Several sociological sections have already shown that this has become one of the consolidating and &#8220;calming&#8221; factors for the civilian population. It has also become an important component of Ukraine&#8217;s overall information strategy on both the internal and external fronts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-pro-active-diplomacy\"><strong>Pro-active diplomacy<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ukrainian diplomacy has set a course for active and proactive work within international organizations and parliamentary assemblies.
