Money transfers and logistics are among key issues to be solved. According to OSINT investigations, the Kremlin opts for the following ways to avoid sanctions-derived restrictions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Way 1: <\/strong>Registering companies and other entities in third countries like Armenia, Georgia, Estonia, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, China, Turkey, and UAE, which then act as official buyers under the contracts. Upon arrival of the shipment, it is being registered as transit freight and continues its journey to Russia.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A good instance of such a practice is what <em>Russisch<\/em>&#8211;<em>Turkish Business Council <\/em>(RTBC, 109012, bldg.1, 6\/1, Ilyinka str., Moscow Russia, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rtbc.ru\/\">www.rtbc.ru, <\/a>e-mail: <a href=\"mailto:rtbc@rtbc.ru\">rtbc@rtbc.ru, <\/a><a href=\"mailto:rtbctpp@yandex.ru\">rtbctpp@yandex.ru, <\/a><a href=\"mailto:dios@tpprf.ru\">dios@tpprf.ru, <\/a>tel:+84955029289, +84956200429) suggests:<br><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh5.googleusercontent.com\/Bc7p_XG6ckm0rxo2-b3p4Va0YodQe8Waxa7doBoF0O7enhSjsX-RD9DSpy91Sg6PVWqNo6RrfnPONFmchxjJobkhxSq_G9LPxmzo9GlaCBmoMn4q5tTV5y0OJv-uZdqojOq6kZ9n3z4iFZTzDg\" width=\"736\" height=\"153\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moreover, the following delivery routes could be used <em>(Russian web resource)<\/em>:<br><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"C:\\Users\\Admin\\Desktop\\sss.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/lh5.googleusercontent.com\/Qu4FlmOghG305yMEI1gU-QhSoapTIFPbYSt9iHLbV5LJ1mo4BwEsnMawBOQh_9u_7rxA-NjQ5TU7ajtfR4zHn7F5od7p2RAC0zkEfQcYWh34yZnj3dP88uxg64GgUqxbKuQQyIGB20O8ez8YDQ\" width=\"664\" height=\"350\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Given that the EU has banned Russian and Belorussian logistics companies from entering its territory, the most feasible route would be through Georgia using highways or railroads.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-in-order-to-implement-the-abovementioned-practice-the-following-agreements-are-signed\"><strong>In order to implement the abovementioned&nbsp; practice, the following agreements are signed:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Sale and Purchase Agreement \u21161 <\/strong>between an American\/European goods supplier and a Turkish business entity. The currency, prices, payment conditions and obligations are negotiated between a buyer in Russia and a supplier in Europe\/USA and are stated in this Agreement.<\/li><li><strong>Sale and Purchase Agreement \u21162 <\/strong>between the entity in Turkey and the buyer in Russia. Currency \u2013 the Turkish lira. The payment conditions are stated in this Agreement as well according to the <strong>Agreement \u21161<\/strong>. The price comprises the price under <strong>Agreement \u21161 <\/strong>plus the Turkish entity\u2019s revenue, bank fee for the <strong>Agreement \u21161 <\/strong>payments and the logistics fee.<\/li><li><strong>Agreement \u21163 for the provision of services <\/strong>between the buyer in Russia and the RTBC\u2019s representative. Currency \u2013 the Russian ruble. The payment conditions are: 50% as a down payment, another 50% is transferred after shipment\u2019s delivery. The price is determined by the representative\u2019s revenue.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Way 2: <\/strong>Selling goods on the part of a European company to an entity based in a third country that hasn\u2019t imposed any sanctions on Russia <em>(Turkey, UAE, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kirgizstan etc.) <\/em>by using bonded warehouses <em>(without actually delivering the goods to the receiving country)<\/em>. By doing so, any of the abovementioned countries could be a supplier, while a shipment would be processed as a transit one. In addition, the buyer doesn\u2019t pay the VAT.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Way 3: <\/strong>\u00abDHL Express\u00bb \u2013 the international logistics company that operates throughout the world. As of March 2, 2022, the company has suspended its inbound services to Russia, while still operating inside the country as well as making deliveries abroad.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-it-is-necessary-to-point-out-the-following-payment-schemes-that-could-possibly-aid-the-evasion-of-sanctions\"><strong>It is necessary to point out the following payment schemes that could possibly aid the evasion of sanctions:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Using PayPal and Payoneer. To that end, a legal entity is registered in a third country, which later creates accounts in the mentioned payment systems. PayPal is the most widespread system for making payments to the suppliers from the US, Canada and the EU, while Payoneer provides an option to open a transfer account <em>(for transferring money to other accounts)<\/em>.<\/li><li>Using the letter of credit issued by a European bank for the supplier in the third country. In this case, Russia acts as a guarantee beneficiary.<\/li><li>Using cryptocurrency.<\/li><li>Using the KoronaPay app, which allows to exchange euros to Russian rubles from the foreign bank accounts to the Russian ones via Swiss banks, where some Russian citizens have accounts.<\/li><li>Using Kyrgyz payment cards. The money is transferred to Kyrgyzstan by the Russian banks <em>(Tinkoff Bank, Sberbank of Russia) <\/em>beforehand.
