<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Am 5. M\u00e4rz 2026 veranstalteten das Transatlantic Dialogue Center (TDC) und die International Renaissance Foundation (IRF) in Mexiko-Stadt eine Rundtisch-Diskussion mit dem Mexican Council on Foreign Relations (COMEXI). Ziel des Treffens war der Austausch \u00fcber Russlands Krieg gegen die Ukraine sowie dessen Auswirkungen auf die internationale Sicherheit und die internationale Ordnung.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die ukrainische Delegation bestand aus Oleksandr Slyvchuk, Alina Rohach und Bohdana Batsko (TDC) sowie Olha Kvashuk (IRF). An der Diskussion nahmen au\u00dferdem f\u00fcnf mit COMEXI verbundene Expertinnen und Experten teil: Alejandra L\u00f3pez de Alba G\u00f3mez, M\u00f3nica Laborda, Beata Wojna, Fernando Villar Montekio und Javier Jileta-Okholm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Im Mittelpunkt der Diskussion standen Themen von gemeinsamem Interesse, darunter die geopolitische Bedeutung des Krieges, die Energielage in Europa und ihre globalen Auswirkungen, die Bedeutung der Unterst\u00fctzung der Vereinigten Staaten f\u00fcr die Ukraine und die europ\u00e4ische Sicherheit sowie die Herausforderungen bei der Durchf\u00fchrung von Wahlen in der Ukraine unter Kriegsbedingungen. Zudem diskutierten die Teilnehmenden die Lage im Nahen Osten und deren Auswirkungen auf die internationalen Entwicklungen, den Zustand der ukrainischen Gesellschaft nach vier Jahren des russischen Angriffskrieges sowie Perspektiven des Friedensprozesses und die m\u00f6gliche Rolle Mexikos und Lateinamerikas bei der Bew\u00e4ltigung dieses Konflikts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
