On 4 March 2026 in Mexico City, the Transatlantic Dialogue Center (TDC), together with the International Renaissance Foundation (IRF) and PR\u00c1CTICA, co-organised a public offline discussion titled “Reflections on Ukraine four years after the full-scale invasion” \u2014 marking the first in-person event co-organised by TDC in Latin America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conversation brought together the Ukrainian delegation from TDC and IRF: Oleksandr Slyvchuk (Coordinator of the Spain and Latin America Cooperation Program, TDC), Alina Rohach (Project Manager of the Spain and Latin America Cooperation Program, TDC), Bohdana Batsko (Project Assistant of the Spain and Latin America Cooperation Program, TDC), and Olha Kvashuk (“Europe and the World” Program Manager, IRF). The discussion was moderated by international analyst Brenda Estefan.<\/p>\n\n\n

Marking four years since the beginning of Russia\u2019s full-scale war against Ukraine, the event focused on humanitarian issues of particular sensitivity and the broader global significance of the war. Key topics included the geopolitical dimension of Russia\u2019s aggression, Ukrainian civil society\u2019s perspective on the current situation and human rights context, the protection of Ukrainian children and challenges of family reunification, and perspectives on a potential peace process and pathways toward resolving the conflict. Particular attention was also given to the role of civil society in strengthening democracy and resisting aggression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
