Am 20. August 2025 lieferte Oleksandr Slyvchuk, Koordinator des Spanien- und Lateinamerika-Partnerschaftsprogramms am Transatlantic Dialogue Center, dem argentinischen Medienunternehmen El Prensero eine umfassende Analyse des Krieges Russlands gegen die Ukraine. Slyvchuk \u00e4u\u00dferte sich kritisch zu Vorschl\u00e4gen f\u00fcr eine schnelle Friedensl\u00f6sung und betonte, dass eine nachhaltige L\u00f6sung die grundlegenden Ursachen f\u00fcr die Aggression Russlands angehen und echte langfristige Sicherheit bieten m\u00fcsse. Er unterstrich, dass ein rasches Ende der Feindseligkeiten zwar ein verst\u00e4ndliches globales Anliegen sei, der Weg zum Frieden jedoch weitaus komplexer sei.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Slyvchuk stellte die Vorstellung infrage, dass Russland in die Ukraine wegen ihres Hoheitsgebiets eingefallen sei, und erkl\u00e4rte, dass der erste Angriff Moskaus auf Kyjiw bewiesen habe, dass sein eigentliches Ziel darin bestehe, die Souver\u00e4nit\u00e4t der Ukraine zu beseitigen. Er warnte davor, Vorschl\u00e4ge anzunehmen, die eine Abtretung von Land beinhalten, da ein solcher Schritt keinen dauerhaften Frieden bringen w\u00fcrde. Stattdessen w\u00fcrde dies Russland lediglich eine \u201eoperative Pause\u201c verschaffen, um sich neu zu formieren und eine zuk\u00fcnftige Invasion vorzubereiten. \u201eEin Verbrecher, der nicht vor Gericht gestellt wird, wird sein Verbrechen wiederholen\u201c, erkl\u00e4rte er und unterstrich damit die Gefahr, Aggression zu belohnen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Laut dem TDC-Experten erfordert ein dauerhafter Frieden mehr als nur einen Waffenstillstand. Die Position der Ukraine ist klar: Jede L\u00f6sung muss Gerechtigkeit f\u00fcr Kriegsverbrechen, die R\u00fcckkehr deportierter ukrainischer Zivilisten und umfangreiche Mittel f\u00fcr den Wiederaufbau beinhalten. Vor allem muss sie eiserne Sicherheitsgarantien bieten, um k\u00fcnftige Invasionen zu verhindern. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Letztendlich betonte Slyvchuk, dass der Krieg nicht nur ein regionales Problem sei, sondern eine direkte Herausforderung f\u00fcr die gesamte internationale Ordnung darstelle. Er warnte davor, dass es einen gef\u00e4hrlichen Pr\u00e4zedenzfall f\u00fcr autorit\u00e4re Regime \u00fcberall auf der Welt schaffen w\u00fcrde, wenn die Welt Russland ohne Konsequenzen die Invasion und Annexion eines souver\u00e4nen Staates gestatte.
