Am 9. April 2025 hielten Vertreter des Transatlantic Dialogue Center und des Menschenrechtszentrums ZMINA in Santiago ein Treffen mit dem chilenischen Thinktank AthenaLab ab. Die Diskussion bot Gelegenheit, Einsch\u00e4tzungen zur aktuellen Lage in der Ukraine auszutauschen und mehr \u00fcber die innen- und au\u00dfenpolitischen Dynamiken Chiles zu erfahren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

W\u00e4hrend des Austauschs gab unsere Delegation einen \u00dcberblick \u00fcber den anhaltenden Krieg in der Ukraine, die humanit\u00e4re und sicherheitspolitische Lage vor Ort sowie die aktuellen diplomatischen Priorit\u00e4ten der Ukraine. Wir hoben au\u00dferdem die Rolle der Zivilgesellschaft bei der Verteidigung der Menschenrechte und der St\u00e4rkung der Resilienz in Krisenzeiten hervor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die Fachleute von AthenaLab legten ihrerseits eine fundierte Analyse der politischen Lage in Chile, der j\u00fcngsten au\u00dfenpolitischen Entwicklungen und des Ansatzes des Landes bei globalen Sicherheitsherausforderungen vor. Das Gespr\u00e4ch betonte Chiles Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr die Ukraine und befasste sich zugleich mit den weitergehenden Hindernissen, denen unser Land weiterhin begegnet, wenn es internationale Aufmerksamkeit mobilisiert und langfristige Unterst\u00fctzung sichert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Das Treffen war Teil umfassenderer Bem\u00fchungen, Partnerschaften mit politischen Fachkreisen in Lateinamerika aufzubauen und in einer Zeit globaler Ungewissheit gegenseitiges Verst\u00e4ndnis zu f\u00f6rdern. Wir danken AthenaLab f\u00fcr den konstruktiven Dialog und freuen uns auf die weitere Zusammenarbeit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
