Am 24. Februar 2025 trat Oleksandr Slyvchuk, Koordinator des Kooperationsprogramms f\u00fcr Spanien und Lateinamerika, in Tot es mou<\/em>, einer Nachrichten- und Diskussionssendung des katalanischen \u00f6ffentlich-rechtlichen Fernsehsenders TV3, auf, um Einblicke in den fortdauernden Kampf der Ukraine f\u00fcr Sicherheit und Souver\u00e4nit\u00e4t zu geben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

W\u00e4hrend der Diskussion betonte Slyvchuk, dass die Ukraine nach einem stabilen und dauerhaften Frieden strebe, nicht nach einem vor\u00fcbergehenden Waffenstillstand, der in wenigen Jahren zusammenbrechen k\u00f6nnte. Er unterstrich, dass die Ukraine im Rahmen keiner Vereinbarung Gebiet abtreten werde, da solche Zugest\u00e4ndnisse Russland nur dazu ermutigen w\u00fcrden, sich wieder aufzur\u00fcsten und k\u00fcnftig weitere Aggression zu beginnen. Sowohl die ukrainische Regierung als auch die Gesellschaft seien in ihrer Entschlossenheit vereint, die Souver\u00e4nit\u00e4t des Landes zu verteidigen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Er ging auch auf das Streben der Ukraine nach Sicherheitsgarantien ein und betonte, dass die Mitgliedschaft in der NATO weiterhin die einzige verl\u00e4ssliche L\u00f6sung sei. Bilaterale Abkommen mit westlichen Partnern b\u00f6ten zwar politische, milit\u00e4rische und finanzielle Unterst\u00fctzung, gew\u00e4hrleisteten jedoch keinen langfristigen Schutz vor einer weiteren russischen Invasion in den kommenden Jahren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Slyvchuk hob die Frustration unter den Ukrainerinnen und Ukrainern \u00fcber die fehlende Geschlossenheit innerhalb der EU und die wahrgenommene Unt\u00e4tigkeit des Westens hervor. Obwohl die Ukraine seit mehr als einem Jahrzehnt, seit der Maidan-Revolution von 2014, f\u00fcr die EU-Integration k\u00e4mpft, w\u00e4chst die Entt\u00e4uschung \u00fcber Europas langsame Reaktion und schwache Verteidigungsindustrie.
