It provides analytical context and is not live operational tracking.<\/figcaption><\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<section class=\"tdc-p5-band\" aria-labelledby=\"latest-update-heading\">\n<div class=\"tdc-p5-shell\">\n<h2 id=\"latest-update-heading\">Latest Ukraine War Update<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>According to the August 9-15 briefing, daily combat engagements remained very high, ranging from 204 to 254 and totaling 1,593 over the week, or about 228 per day.<\/li>\n<li>Russia conducted 546 airstrikes and dropped 1,824 guided aerial bombs, while regular nighttime attacks again used more than 100 Shahed-type UAVs.<\/li>\n<li>The largest UAV attacks listed in the report included 202 attack drones on August 9 and 138 on August 12.<\/li>\n<li>Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka were the main concentration of Russian ground attacks, with 197 attacks recorded in each area over the week.<\/li>\n<li>Ukrainian strikes were recorded against air-defense systems, radar stations, command posts, warehouses, UAV relay stations, oil and petrochemical facilities, rocket-space infrastructure, and the Savasleyka airfield.<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"tdc-p5-band tdc-p5-band--soft\" aria-labelledby=\"situation-heading\">\n<div class=\"tdc-p5-shell\">\n<h2 id=\"situation-heading\">Current Situation<\/h2>\n<p>The weekly picture is defined by a high ground-combat tempo, sustained Russian air and drone pressure, and continued Ukrainian pressure against air-defense, fuel, logistics, command, and UAV-support infrastructure. The intensity differs by direction and by day, so isolated headlines do not provide a reliable account of the full week.<\/p>\n<p>The report connects operational developments to the wider policy environment: sanctions, air-defense capacity, partner support, defense-industrial cooperation, reconstruction, and democratic governance under wartime pressure.
