The article notes that <strong>around \u201c70,000\u201d women are currently serving in Ukraine\u2019s Armed Forces<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Batsko stressed that women\u2019s role in Ukraine has been growing since 2014, and described the <strong>\u201cdouble burden\u201d many women carry<\/strong> \u2014 caring for children and managing households while also working to provide income as men serve in the armed forces.
